The reception/party is the most important aspect of any Romanian wedding
Romanians party hard..expect to be eating, drinking, dancing and celebrating to at least 5am on Sunday morning!
Throughout the night various "traditional" events take place including kidnapping of the bride
The reception is in a traditional Romanian Inn called "Hanul Trei Sarmale" whose literal translation means "Inn of the three meats". The reception night menu will be a combination of traditional Romanian dishes (mostly meat-based) with an english dish thrown in for the less adventurous (and to give the Romanian guests something new!)
